This position requires previous experience in a customer service position in a print shop. Experience in the following specific skills will greatly benefit your consideration.
1. Work environment is a busy printing/copying company and involves a wide variety of skills, training and experience.
2. Order Entry - taking information from customers and prospects via phone, email, and in person at front counter. estimates and orders are entered into a computer pricing program.
3. Job requires extensive knowledge of all steps of preparing and producing printing and copying products. must be able to assist clients with determining best way to produce product they need.
4. Candidates should be familiar with handling wide variety of electronic file formats used for documents, must be familiar with workings of windows computer environment (internet, email, handling attachments, moving and organizing files, keyboard skills, MS Word and excel.
5. This person also runs jobs on copiers/printers and must know or be trained on operation of our copiers and the RIP computers that hold jobs prior to running
6. This position also involves some "bindery" tasks: coil binding, hand folding and collating, laminating, assembly of large jobs, packing jobs for shipment,
7. Pace is sometimes fast-paced with many deadlines. Requires need for multi-tasking, careful attention to details.
8. Regular "housekeeping" activities of keeping customer area and work areas clean, filing of completed jobs, stocking of supplies
9. Proper handling of payments made by customers for jobs.
10. Assisting customers at counter with making copies, sending faxes, designing layouts for business cards, fliers, etc.
11. High level of cooperation and team work with other members of staff. Good attitude and work ethic required to help store achieve goals.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone, email and in-person dealings with clients
13. Position is a combination of sales and production activities. This provides a challenging but rewarding combination that requires high levels of productivity. Must be motivated to produce high quality products and be driven to exceed customer expectations.
